About the Founder
 
Restotel was initiated and established upon the vision of its founder, Shmuel (Shmulik) Markus.
 
Markus started out in the early 1990's as head of food and beverages and later as a hotel manager for the Isrotel hotel chain, one of the leading chains in Israel.
 
Markus is unique in his direct acquaintance with the market. As a person who has experienced a wide variety of managerial positions as well as diverse areas of operation, he brings with him unprecedented experience and the ability to truly understand how the business operates, along with the capacity to work together with the customer and communicate at eye level.
 
In recent years, Markus has been involved with the establishment of restaurants, bars and coffee shops, and with the formulation of concepts for innovative serving ideas in the industry.
 
His customers include leading business in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Shmulik lectures in business management courses and his editorial contributions are much sought after by leading restaurant and hospitality magazines in Israel.
